i bought this for my grandson was a wonderful product the built in night light really helps during the night and the soothing music helps the baby be nice and calm
I just bought this item as I had to have a c-section and the bassinett part makes it easier for me to get my son in and out without bending so far.I love that it vibrates and soothes him right to sleep.Everything about this item is perfect!If you dont have one you should its the perfect all in one playpen!
The packaging of the playard for some strange reason doesn't mention the feaure of vibration, but don't worry it has it inside. There are also these 3 cute little white teddy bears that hang like a mobile, and has a cool skirt on the bottom to hide anything you might want to put undernieth (something that a lot of playards dont have) as a bedsheet i cut a twin size sheet and sewed it like a pillow case for this size mattress, it works for me
I love this playard very much, it has everything you could possibly want in a travel playard and is very cute. Its very compact, not very heavy and simple to set up once you know what you're doing. This was my first playard I've bought in years so I had no idea the instructions came on the back of the pad in a little flap! I looked everywhere for the instructions until I just decided to put it together without them. The little pocket in the bassinet that holds the battery box won't close properly due to it being too small to actually hold the box, so you have to leave it hanging open. This is an annoyance to me since I worry it will slide out of the little compartment. My other big issue was with the little nightlight/music box that hooks to the side. The wire that plugs into it for vibration is in a terrible spot and the cord is actually too short. I tried to put it on and the electrical cord actually broke! So I never actually got to try out the vibration. The next problem with it was when I put batteries in it the music worked however the lights did not. I tried switching the batteries but it still didn't work. Apparently one of the lights has a short in it where it connects to the wire, which makes neither light work. Beyond those problems this is a great product, especially for the price.
This playyard is every helpful for a newborn need all the way to 12 months of need. It was a easy setup. the only downfall that i recived is the canopy would not open all the way; were in the middel of the canopy it would not latch to make a perfect rainbow. But it was no use of tacking it all apart just for that. other then that we are pleased.
The Evenflo Baby Suite Select is a very nice pack-n-play. I love the color and the set up was pretty easy as long as you follow the directions. The only thing I really don't like is the vibrating feature. The mechanism is right in the middle of the bassinet area which is a drooping piece of nylon. So even with the mattress on top of it the vibration has no support, so it makes a lot of noise. My son's not born yet, but I hope his weight will be enough to keep the noise down.
I like everything about the playard because of the fact that my newborn daughter sleeps better and longer in the playard than she does in her crib...
Very good looking product that does exactly what it says! The product is very durable as we have traveled with it; set up is quick and easy and more importantly baby loves it!
I purchased the Evenflo Baby Suite Select Playard, in Cognac for my daughter. We had both agreed that this was the one that would do her best. Shipping to site was fast and we had no problems in pick-up. Once home the porduct assembly was simple and the playpen looks great. The only thing wrong was in the tray that hangs on the outside end of the playpen. It is made of mesh and plastic. There is a hole in the mesh a bit bigger than a half dollar. It appears to have been melted someway. While this was a disappointment, it does not take away from the function of the product. We decided to not send it back and live with the flaw. We only hope the hole doesn't get larger with use. It would have taken too long to take it apart and put it back in the box and get it back to the store and then get another one sent out. So we will live with it. Love the product. Not happy with the quality control end of it.
This is defiinatly not what I expected!!!! The colors are very different from the picture. They are Light tan, Brown, and blue in the plad area and the piping on the Sun Shade is orange. I would not call it Cognac. Other that the color problem, the sun shade is very flimsy. The bottom is very flimsy also, when it is in teh bassinett position and the reg. position. I even tried putting a pack n play matress in it and that didn't even help!! I checked several other pack n plays and they are MUCH firmer. All of the Evenflo's have very flimsy bottoms. I was planning on the baby sleeping in our room in this for the first month or so, but I am definatly taking it back.
